(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 29 -

A man has been arrested in relation to the murder of an adult film actress whose chopped-up body was found in black bags in Borno, in the province of Brescia, on March 21, sources said Tuesday.
The suspect, 43-year-old Milan bank clerk Davide Fontana, has confessed to Carabinieri police to killing his ex-girlfriend Carol Maltesi, a 25-year-old from Milan who went by the stage name Charlotte Angie, during an interrogation overnight, the sources said.
Fontana, also a neighbour of the victim, said the murder took place in January, according to the sources.
He said he initially kept the body in a freezer, chopped it up and then threw it down a precipice, the sources said.
Fontana told police he and Maltesi had been playing an erotic game that went wrong, after which he hit her with a hammer "and lost control".
Maltesi described herself on social media thus: "Charlotte Angie is a 25-year-old half Italian, half Dutch girl who has always dreamed big and is never satisfied".
In a video filmed in 2020, she said "I support women against violence".
Her beautician Sefora told reporters "she was a beautiful girl, fragile and sensitive, who suffered greatly because her son was so far away from her", referring to the fact that the boy lived in Amsterdam with his father.
"It was her dream to go and live in the Netherlands," said Sefora.
