(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 2 - Hackers hit two Milan hospitals on
Sunday afternoon and Monday morning, the hospitals said.
As a result of the attacks, the IT systems are down at the
Fatebenefratelli and Sacco Hospitals and they will have to
restrict access to ERs and laboratory services Monday and
Tuesday.
The Buzzi and Melloni health facilities were hit too.
Patients will be given limited access and only after compiling
paper forms while tests will be disrupted, the facilities said.
The attack, whose origin is unknown, started at around three
o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
Police are working on the case. (ANSA).
