(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 13 - A 37-year-old foreign man was cited
by Italian police Friday for driving down Rome's Spanish Steps
in a Maserati and damaging some of the steps.
The man was caught after police compared footage of the incident
on the iconic monument with CCTV footage of him handing the
vehicle back into a car hire at Milan's Malpensa Airport.
The man has been reported to authorities for damaging Italy's
cultural heritage. (ANSA).
