(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 16 - Outgoing Premier Mario Draghi's
cabinet on Friday approved a third package of aid to help
households and businesses cope with soaring energy and fuel
costs, sources said.
The new decree features support worth around 14 billion euros,
sources said
This would be on top of around 52 billion euros in aid already
allocated this year for the cost-of-living crisis.
The new package includes a one-off payment of 150 euros for
people earning less than 20,000 euros a year, sources said.
A previous aid package included a 200-euro one-off payment for
low earners. (ANSA).
