(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 26 - French President Emmanuel Macron said
Monday that he respected the outcome of Italy's general election
following the right's victory and wanted to continue to
cooperate with the incoming government.
"The Italian people have made a democratic, sovereign choice,"
said Macron.
"We respect it. As friend, neighbour countries, we must continue
to work together". (ANSA).
