(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 13 - The Bank of Italy said Thursday that
it has cut its 2023 GDP growth forecast to 0.3%.
It said it expected growth this year to come in at 3.3%, with
the economy expanding by 1.4% in 2024 in the base scenario.
The central bank added, however, that there is a high level of
uncertainty.
It said that in a negative scenario GDP would drop by 1.5% in
2023 and only recover modestly in 2024. (ANSA).
