(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 20 - Italian police on Thursday seized
some 50 million euros from a Mafia lifer who was continuing to
run Sicilian transport companies from his prison cell in
Siracusa.
Among the assets seized from Nardo clan member Filadelfo
Emanuele Ruggeri were two lots of land, 244 trailers, six luxury
cars and several bank accounts.
Police said Ruggeri ran two large transport companies in the
province of Siracusa via relatives. (ANSA).
