(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 27 - A Canadair fire-fighting plane
crashed into Mt Etna in Sicily on Thursday, local sources said.
The plane was helping fight a large forest fire in the vicinity
of Europe's tallest active volcano, at Linguaglossa, when it
crashed due to so far unknown reasons.
The fate of the crew is also not yet known. (ANSA).
