(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 2 - A mural of a woman bending open prison
bars on the grill of her burqa appeared at dawn Wednesday
outside the Iranian embassy in Rome.
The latest work of street artist Harry Greb also shows a white
dove containing a portrait of Masha Amini, the 22-year-old woman
arrested and beaten by Iran's morality police for incorrectly
wearing her veil on September 13 and who died of her injuries
two days later, sparking a still-ongoing wave of protests by
Iranian women against the autocratic Islamic regime.
Scores of people have died amid a crackdown on the protests.
