(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 4 - Autumn rain will sweep Italy this
weekend ending the unusually long hot spell the Bel Paese has
enjoyed recently, forecaster Antonio Sanò said Friday.
Locally intense showers, cloudbursts and gales will affect most
of the country, after the north and centre saw some rain Friday,
said Sanò, the founder and director of the website
www.
Temperatures will return to seasonal averages and will bring
snow in the Alps, even under 1500 metres, he said.
Venice will be hit by acqua alta. (ANSA).
