Pope to return Vatican Parthenon marble pieces to Greece

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 16 - The Vatican said Friday that Pope Francis has decided to give three fragments of the Parthenon marbles held in the Vatican Museums back to Greece.
    In a statement, the Vatican said the gift was a "concrete symbol" of the pontiff's "sincere desire to continue on the universal path of truth". (ANSA).
