(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 13 - Patriarch Kirill, head of the Russian
Orthodox Church, highlighted the importance of dialogue between
religious leaders in a message to Pope Francis on Monday on the
10th anniversary of his election as the head of the Roman
Catholic Church.
"In these difficult times, a dialogue between religious leaders
can bear good fruit and contribute to the unification of the
efforts of people of good will for the 'healing of wounds' of
God's creation," said Patriarch Kirill, as reported by Russian
news agency Tass.
Kirill noted that Pope Francis is making a significant
contribution to the preaching of the Gospel and to the
development of interfaith relations, Tass added. (ANSA).
