(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 24 - A young woman who is blind will have
to leave her rental accommodation in Bologna in September
because the landlady has refused to renew her contract on
grounds she does not want her guide dog.
31-year-old Camilla from Latina south of Rome told Quotidiano
Nazionale in an interview published Friday she feels
"discriminated against and also a bit betrayed" by the city of
Bologna.
Other homeowners had also told her they didn't rent to people
with dogs, she said.
Now Camilla says she is considering leaving the city.
"Maybe I'll move to Padua, where I'd like to try to become a
social worker, to work with NGOs," she concluded. (ANSA).
