(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 3 - Italian film and TV director
Alessandro D'Alatri, winner of the Italian Oscar as best
debutant in 1991, died after a long illness in his Rome home at
the age of 68 on Wednesday.
D'Alatri made many films, from Americano Rosso to La Febbre, TV
dramas such as I bastardi di Pizzofalcone, Il Commissario
Ricciardi and Il Professore, but also music videos and many
commercials.
In 1991 he won the David di Donatello as best debutant director
for Americano Rosso. (ANSA).
