No decision on New Silk Road says Meloni

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 10 - The government has yet to come to a decision on whether to renew a 2019 memorandum by year's end acceding to China's vast 'New Silk Road' Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Premier Giorgia Meloni said in Prague Wednesday.
    "This is a decision which we have not yet taken, it is an open debate," she said on Italy's possible renewal of the BRI accession memorandum, which Beijing has urged.
    "It's a delicate decision," she went on, recaling that "I did not agree with the choice that the Conte government made" to join the New Silk Road. (ANSA).
