(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 19 - The Italian Regulatory Authority for
Energy, Networks and Environment (Arera) on Friday approved an
emergency measure suspending the payment of bills and payment
notices for water, waste, electricity and gas in the areas
affected by the flooding and landslide emergency in Emilia
Romagna.
The suspension concerns "all utilities in municipalities
affected by the calamitous events since May 1, with the
worsening of the last few days", a statement said.
