(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 22 - Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister
Antonio Tajani said the EU was not yet ready to approve a new
package of sanctions on Russia over its aggression against
Ukraine following a Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels on
Monday.
"More time is needed for the 11th package of sanctions," Tajani
said.
"It requires work. These issues are not easy to resolve.
"Today we made a political assessment. The line is to support
Ukraine, preventing the (existing) restrictive measures from
being circumvented". (ANSA).
