Flood decree simplifies regasification plant norms

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 23 - The government's new flood decree simplifies norms on new regasification plants to be built or installed in Italy, sources at the premier's office said Tuesday.
    There is a simplification of the "regulations on the construction of new national regasification capacity, and those works of public utility, indifferent and urgent, are qualified as works of public utility, those aimed at this through floating storage and regasification units", said the decree.
    The measure is provided for within the decree law on the emergency for the deadly and disastrous floods in Emilia Romagna, as reported in a press release from Palazzo Chigi.
