(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 26 - The areas hit by last week's
devastating floods and landslides in Emilia Romagna that claimed
15 lives remained on red alert on Friday.
Although heavy rain is not forecast in the area on Friday, the
civil protection department said the risk of landslides is high,
with much of the terrain still soaked with floods waters.
The regions of Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria and Tuscany are on
yellow alert for extreme weather, two notches down from the
maximum red. (ANSA).
