(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 12 - Four-time former premier and media
mogul Silvio Berlusconi, who has died at 86, will not have a
lying in state due to public order concerns, his Mediaset media
empire said Monday.
There will be no funeral chamber for Silvio Berlusconi to lie in
state in the Cologno monzese television studios ahead of his
funeral in Milan cathedral Wednesday, said the Mediaset press
office.
An inspection by the Carabinieri from Milan's provincial command
post ended a short while ago, they said. The decision is solely
linked to issues of public order, the press office said. (ANSA).
