(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 15 - The children of late ex-premier
Silvio Berlusconi told Forza Italia to continue to fight for the
ideals of the party's founder in a letter to it on Saturday on
the occasion of its first national council meeting since he died
last month.
"Dear friends, thank you for the support and closeness you have
always shown to our dear father," said the letter, which was
read out by Foreign Minister and Deputy Premier Antonio Tajani.
"And thank you for everything you will do from now on to
continue to uphold the ideals of freedom, progress and democracy
that have always distinguished his thoughts and actions".
