Man, 98, dies in fire near Reggio Calabria

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 25 - A 98-year-old man has died in Cardeto due to the fires that are affecting the hilly area near Reggio Calabria, local sources said Tuesday.
    The elderly man fell victim to the flames while his daughter and son-in-law were slightly injured but were saved, they said.
    According to reports, the elderly man, who was bedridden, died from the flames that reached the countryside house where he lived. (ANSA).
