(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 13 - The Italian coast guard on Sunday
recovered the body of one of two migrants missing following a
shipwreck off the Sicilian island of Marettimo on Saturday
night.
The body, of a man aged around 30, was found 10 nautical miles
south-west of the westernmost island in the Egadi archipelago
off the west coast of Sicily.
On Saturday coast guard and finance police patrol boats rescued
11 people on a boat in distress around nine miles off Marettimo
and transferred them to the island.
The survivors, from Algeria, reported that there had been 13
people on the boat, which was found without an engine.
