(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 5 - Italy's ail network chief on Tuesday
vowed the utmost cooperation with a probe into the accident that
killed five rail maintenance workers at Brandizzo near Turin
last week.
"The circumstances of the incident and the identification of the
causes of the accident are being investigated by the competent
magistracy, to which the company has provided and will provide
full cooperation and availability," said the CEO of Rete
Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), Giampiero Strisciuglio.
He was speaking at a hearing before the Transport and Labour
Committees of the Lower House on work safety and the accident
at Brandizzo in particular. (ANSA).
