(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 15 - French President Emmanuel Macron said
Friday that it is "the duty of all of us Europeans not to leave
Italy alone" in relation to the migrant situation on Lampedusa.
"I consider it the responsibility of the whole European Union to
be at Italy's side," he said.
Macron said there is a "duty of European solidarity" on
Lampedusa, adding that that "decisions will be taken with
Italy". (ANSA).
