(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 21 - Napoli were the only Italian team to
win their opening Champions League match this week when a
spectacular own goal in the closing stages by Braga's Sikou
Niakate gave them a 2-1 win in Portugal on Wednesday.
Captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo had put Rudi Garcia's side in front
in the Group C clash but Bruma had equalised for the hosts.
In Group D, Inter, the competition's runners-up last season,
drew 1-1 at Real Sociedad thanks to a late strike by Lautaro
Martinez after Brais Mendez had scored an early goal for the
Basque side.
On Tuesday seven-time European champions drew 0-0 with Newcastle
United at San Siro in Group F and Lazio tied 1-1 with Atletico
Madrid in Rome in Group E. (ANSA).
