(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 26 - French President Emmanuel Macron and
Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni on Tuesday "continued their
exchange of views on the need to find a European solution to the
migration issue" during their meeting in Rome after the funeral
of former president of the republic Giorgio Napolitano,
according to sources at the French presidential office in Paris.
"The two leaders also talked about the European Union's economic
priorities," the Elysée sources added.
Macron and Meloni are to meet again at the Med 9 summit in Malta
on Friday and at the European Political Community summit in
Granada on October 5 and 6. (ANSA).
