Ukraine can count on Italy says Tajani in Kyiv

(see related) (ANSA) - ROME, OCT 2 - Ukraine can count on the Italian government's support in its battle for freedom, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said during Monday's European Foreign Affairs Council in Kyiv, according to diplomatic sources.
    Tajani reiterated that Rome is "strongly committed" to aiding the reconstruction of the country, saying it would be among the priorities Italy's G7 presidency next year, and that it supports Ukraine's accession to the European Union, the sources said. (ANSA).
