(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 6 - Finance police on Friday seized assets
worth 98 million euro from two businessmen believed to be linked
to a local branch of the influential Laudani mafia 'family'
based in Sicily's second city, Catania.
The seizures took place in the regions of Sicily, Lazio,
Lombardy and Veneto.
Investigators have linked the suspects to the Scalisi clan from
Adrano, near Catania.
In total 50 finance police officers took part in the sweep.
