(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 23 - Ferrari's difficult Formula One
season continued on Sunday when Charles Leclerc was disqualified
from the United States Grand Prix after finishing sixth due to a
breach of the technical rules.
Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton also had his result scrubbed after
finishing second due to the technical breach regarding excessive
wear of the skid pads on the cars.
The good news for Ferrari was the Hamilton's disqualification
led to to Carlos Sainz's being promoted from fourth to third and
a place on the podium. (ANSA).
