Lazio court confirms suspension of oral cannabis decree

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 26 - A Lazio regional court on Thursday confirmed the suspension of a ministerial decree ordering the inclusion of cannabinoid-based products for oral use in the table of medicines, meaning that oral products containing light cannabis can now be sold again.
    The hearing on the merits of the case has been scheduled for January 16, 2024.
    Earlier this month the same court upheld an appeal against the decree by association Imprenditori Canapa Italia (Italy Cannabis Businesses, ICI). (ANSA).
