(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 8 - A trial underway in the Vatican over
the management of the funds of the Secretariat of State and the
sale of a property on London's plush Sloane Avenue will end by
December 16, jury President Giuseppe Pignatone announced
Wednesday.
In the trial, Cardinal Angelo Becciu is one of those accused of
mismanagement of funds - the highest ranking Vatican cleric to
be accused of financial crimes.
Dates for the concluding addresses by the promoter of justice,
Alessandro Diddi, and the defence, have been set. (ANSA).
