(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 10 - A 23-year-old Moroccan man who broke three crosses and threatened police officers was deported Thursday amid a security crackdown linked to the Gaza war, the interior ministry said Friday.
The man, Enhamel El Mehdi, was expelled by the Prefect of Alessandria on the grounds of social dangerousness.
In the last few days, the interior ministry said in a tweet, El Mehdi had been reported for offences of offending a religious denomination, by breaking three crucifixes, and resisting a public official.
Moreover, during identification at the police station, he had threatened police officers and the Christian population, claiming that he wanted to avenge the deaths in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. (ANSA).
