(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 10 - No one wants to humiliate Russia over
the Ukraine invasion and war but no dispute can be settled by
attacking one's neighbour, President Sergio Mattarella said in
Tashkent Friday.
What Russia did was "a serious mistake that turns back the
clock" because "no dispute can be resolved by attacking the
neighbour", said by Head of State Mattarella in talks with Uzbek
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The Head of State added that "no one wants to humiliate and
weaken Russia's role" and stressed that this is why Italy
"encourages all ongoing mediation attempts that respect
Ukraine's territorial integrity". (ANSA).
