(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - Giulia Cecchettin, a 22-year-old
Italian woman allegedly killed by her 22-year-old ex-boyfriend
Filippo Turetta last week, will get a posthumous degree in
information engineering from Padua University, Universities
Minister Anna Maria Bernini said after Turetta was arrested in
Germany Sunday.
Cecchettin was due to graduate before she ad Turetta disappeared
last Saturday, only missing her thesis 'defence', before her
body was found this Saturday in a gully near a lake near
Pordenone in Friuli.
Bernini said: "Giulia will get her degree in engineering,
because she was just missing the defense of her thesis. She's
already a graduate, all that's missing is the formality. They
took everything else away from her: her life and the right to
love." (ANSA).
