(see related stories) (ANSA) - ROME, NOV 21 - Hundreds of Rome high-school students on Tuesday rebelled against the decision to hold a minute's silence for Giulia Cecchettin and took to the courtyards of their institutes to "make noise" for her and for every feminicide victim.
The pupils at the Manara, Morgagni, Orazio, Tasso, Farnesina, Virgilio, Talete and Mamiani high schools were among those to pay their respects by making noise with keys, megaphones, whistles and by banging on desks and clapping.
"In the classrooms, in the corridors, we say no to a deafening silence," the students said.
"Make noise with what you can.
"For Giulia, for everyone, burn everything.
"We are the cry of those who are no longer here. No more victims". (ANSA).
