(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 2 - The referee of Sunday's match between
Sassuolo and AS Roma lacks the emotional stability for such a
top-level contest, Giallorossi coach José Mourinho said
Saturday.
Mourinho, who has already been banned for criticising officials
this season, said that ref Matteo Marcenaro "worries me, we've
had him three times as fourth man and the feeling is that he
doesn't have the emotional stability for a match of this level.
"It's not just Sassuolo v Roma, we are three points from the
Champions League zone. The profile of the referee doesn't leave
me calm."
Mourinho also voiced concern over Video Assistant Referee Marco
Di Bello saying: "Not even VAR, he is a referee with whom we
have always had bad luck". (ANSA).
