(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 3 - Filippo Turetta, a 21-year-old Padua
University biomedical engineering student who has confessed to
murdering his 22-year-old ex girlfriend and former coursemate
Giulia Cecchettin, on Sunday met his parents in a Verona prison
for the first time since his arrest in Germany on November 19.
The three had a short talk, ANSA sources said.
Turetta has voiced regret over a "terrible" act and said he
could not accept the end of his relationship with Cecchettin.
"Something inside me snapped," he said. (ANSA).
