(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 26 - Some 173 more migrants landed on
Lampedusa on Tuesday following 278 on Christmas Day.
The latest arrivals on the stepping stone island between Italy
and Africa came in five separate landings.
They came from Tunisia, Guinea, Mali, Sudan and Cote d'Ivoire.
The island's hotspot now houses 173 migrants after the transfer
out of 184 on Monday. (ANSA).
