(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 11 - Italian financier Gianluigi Torzi was
detained by the police in Dubai Wednesday, investigative sources
said Thursday.
Toriz, the so-called 'Vatican broker' who has been convicted of
fraud and market rigging, was arrested by local police on a
warrants from Milanese prosecutors.
He ia alleged to have been involved in market rigging on the
shares of Aedes, an investment company listed on the Milan stock
exchange, an offence allegedly committed between 2017 and 2019.
