(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 11 - Atalanta came from behind to beat AC
Milan 2-1 at San Siro on Wednesday to set up a semi-final with
Fiorentina in the Italian Cup thanks to a double by Teun
Koopmeiners.
Rafael Leao had put Milan ahead in the closing stages of the
first half with a cool finish at the end of a slick move.
But Dutch midfielder Koopmeiners equalized almost immediately
with a precise shot from the edge of the area and he then
converted a penalty in the second half to sent the Bergamo side
into the last four.
Juventus entertain Frosinone in the last quarter-final later on
Thursday.
In the semi-finals the winner will face Lazio, who beat Roma 1-0
on Wednesday. (ANSA).
