at 79 after a heart attack, that he had been lucky to play with
him and he was a "Greek god".
His voice betraying emotion and pain at the loss of a friend,
even before that of a team-mate, ex Roma and Italy midfield
great De Sisti told ANSA on the phone: (he was) 'this sort of
Greek god who was a myth for many of us, not just the kids of
the time.
"It's difficult to comment. I was lucky enough to play with
Gigi, to admire him up close. He was a player who gave you a
head start, a decent guy who spoke little... a lot of deeds and
few words." (ANSA).
