(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 31 - Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told
Rai TV Wednesday that a Hungarian prosecutor had seen Ilaria
Salis in jail in Budapest Tuesday evening.
The country's prosecutor general went to her cell to verify her
conditions after claims she was being held in an inhumane way,
said Tajani, also deputy premier.
Salis's parents also went to see her said the centre right Forza
Italia party leader.
Salis, a 39-year-old antifascist militant from Monza, faces up
to 24 years in jail for allegedly attacking two neo-Nazis at a
rally last February. (ANSA).
