(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 4 - Torino's hopes of qualifying for the
Europa League took a knock Sunday when they were held to a
goalless draw at home to Serie A basement side Salernitana.
The draw left Croatina Toro boss Ivan Juric's men in 10th place
on 32 points, two behind seventh-placed Lazio and three behind
sixth-placed Roma ahead of Lazio's game against fourth-placed
Atalanta in Bergamo at six pm.
The Turin side confirmed their defensive solidity but also their
toothlessness up front, now having notched just 20 goals in 22
games.
The Salerno outfit remain stuck firmly to the bottom of the
table on 13 points, six behind Empoli, Cagliari and Verona and
seven shy of Sassuolo and Udinese. (ANSA).
