(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 12 - The Moratti family have reached a
deal to sell 35% of oil company Saras to Swiss-Dutch giant
Vitol, the family said Sunday night.
Chairman Massimo Moratti, former owner of Inter Milan football
club, said the deal was the best way to safeguard the future of
the Sarroch refinery outside Cagliari, which has been supplying
about a quarter of Italy's oil since his father Angelo set it up
in 1962.
Unions on Monday voiced concern over the takeover saying they
wanted to see Vitol's industrial plan for the plant. (ANSA).
