(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 25 - Wise and brave choices are needed on
climate change, Pope Francis said at his weekly Sunday Angelus
prayer.
Francis expressed his "closeness to the population of Mongolia
hit by a weave of intense cold that is provoking grave
humanitarian consequences.
"This extreme phenomenon, too, is a sign of climate change and
its effects.
"Climate change is a global problem that deeply affects the
lives of many brothers and sisters, above all the most
vulnerable.
"Let us pray to be able to undertake wise and brave choices for
the care of Creation".
The pope also said he was concerned for conflicts in the Congo
