(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 1 - In February 147,094 cars were
registered in Italy, 12.8% more than in the same month of 2023,
the transport ministry said on Friday.
In the first two months of the year, registrations totalled
289,103, up 11.7% on the same period in 2023.
Stellantis outperformed the overall market in Italy with 48,747
car registrations in February, 17.3% more than in the same month
in 2023.
The market share for cars produced by the Italo-Franco-US
carmaker rose from 31.8% to 33.1%.
In the first two months of 2024, the group's car registrations
totalled 98,083, 15.3% more than in the same period of 2023, and
its market share rose from 32.8% to 33.9%. (ANSA).
