(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 5 - An important event took place on
Tuesday evening at the Italian embassy in Tokyo as part of the
international roadshow developed over the last year by Fiere di
Parma in cooperation with ITA - Italian Trade Agency, with the
aim of taking the Italian agri-food model worldwide.
The event aimed to present to Japanese stakeholders the detailed
programme of Cibus 2024, scheduled to take place in Parma from
May 7 to 10, and the new face of the upcoming Tuttofood,
scheduled to take place in Milan from May 5 to 8, 2025.
This new leg of the international tour, which will be followed
by New York (June) and Paris (October), saw the participation of
ICE Agency President Matteo Zoppas, Italian ambassador to Japan
Gianluigi Benedetti and the Minister of Agriculture, Food
Sovereignty and Forests Francesco Lollobrigida.
The minister stressed the crucial role of our country's
agri-food trade fair offering not only for the development of
Italian exports but also for establishing the Italian food model
as a global point of reference.
From 2025, Tuttofood Milano will make Cibus's organizational
expertise available to companies worldwide. In collaboration
with Anuga Colonia partners, the goal is to create a new, higher
quality and more immersive model of a Global Fair in Italy,
thanks also to a significant off-site event in the city.
Like Cibus, it will be an exhibition that goes beyond the
physical confines of pavilions to provide a unique and immersive
experience, tailored to both exhibitors and visitors. (ANSA).
