(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 9 - Spaniard Jorge Martin will start in pole position in Sunday's Qatar Grand Prix, the first round of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship.
The Ducati Pramac rider qualified with a time of 1'50"789, ahead of Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo).
Martin also won Saturday's sprint race, finishing ahead of South African Brad Binder, with Aleix Espargarò on Aprilia in third place. Reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia of Italy finished fourth. (ANSA).
