(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 15 - The possibility of NATO troops being
deployed in Ukraine would throw up the potential for World War
Three, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said Friday.
"I don't think NATO should go into Ukraine," he said after
French President Emmanuel macron again evoked that possibility.
"I hope it doesn't happen," he said when asked about the
possibility of French troops being deployed there.
"Going in and making war on Russia means risking a Third World
war," he said, ruling out Italian troops being sent to help Kyiv
in its war against the Russian invasion. (ANSA).
